Tools to help us support you quickly and securely. Only download and run these when an Axia engineer asks you to.
About the downloads on this page
The files linked from this page are the remote-support tools our engineers use to help you quickly and securely during a helpdesk session. They are small, well-known utilities from established vendors — not custom installers — and they should only ever be downloaded and run when an Axia engineer has asked you to do so. If you have reached this page without an active support ticket, please stop and contact us through our contact page first so we can verify the request is genuine.
How a typical remote-support session works
- A member of our service desk contacts you by phone or email about an issue you have logged and asks whether you are happy for us to take a look remotely.
- With your permission, you download the relevant tool from the card below, run it (no installation is required for the QuickSupport variant) and read out the unique session ID and password shown on screen.
- Our engineer joins the session, you can watch everything that happens on your screen, and the session ends as soon as the work is done. You retain the ability to disconnect the engineer at any point.
- A summary of what was done is automatically added to your support ticket, so you have a paper trail without having to ask.
Security you can verify
Every download on this page is published by the named vendor (TeamViewer GmbH, in the case of the tool currently listed) and links directly to that vendor’s download infrastructure. Downloads are signed with the vendor’s code-signing certificate, so Windows will display the publisher name when you run the file. If your browser or endpoint protection flags the download for any reason, please stop and email helpdesk@axia.co.uk so we can talk you through the expected behaviour before continuing.
Your IP address — for engineer reference
If an Axia engineer asks for your public IP address during a support call, the small panel below the downloads links will display it. We do not log this address against your account when you view the page; it is shown solely so you can read it out during a live call and so the engineer can compare it against connection logs on our side.
